1. Pressure Reduction Steps
Before cleaning the two-component spray road marking machine, always perform the pressure reduction steps.
1)Open the hydraulic distributor valve.
Turn the pressure knob in the “-” direction to decrease the pressure to the minimum value.
2)Close the hydraulic valve.
3)Open the return valve.
- The hydraulic distributor valve is in the open position when parallel to the connecting hose; otherwise, it is closed when perpendicular.
- The hydraulic valve is in the open position when parallel to the lower cylinder body, otherwise, it is closed when perpendicular.
- The return valve is in the open position when parallel to the filter; otherwise, it is closed when perpendicular.
2. Changing and washing steps
Replace paint on two-component spray line marking equipment with cleaning agent.
1)Prepare two barrels of cleaning agent to clean the A and B pipelines separately.
2)Remove the paint buckets and replace them with cleaning agent tank.
3)Place the A and B suction pipes into their respective cleaning agent tank.
4)Remove the spray tips, spray nozzle, and clean them simply with cleaning agent.
*If it is an internal mixing spray gun, remove the spray tips, spray nozzle, internal mixing tube, and simply clean them with cleaning agent.
3. Cleaning two-component spray marking equipment part A plunger pump
1) Hold the return pipe A and aim it at the inner wall of the waste tank
2) Open the hydraulic valve
3) Turn the pressure knob in the “+” direction to increase the pressure.
4) Waiting part A return pipe to discharge the remaining material. When the cleaning agent is discharged, please close the hydraulic valve and the return valve.
5) Hold the return pipe A and aim it at the inner wall of the cleaning agent tank A
6) Open the hydraulic valve and open the return valve
7) Let A return pipe discharge the cleaning agent and washes in multiple cycles.
8) Close the hydraulic valve and close the return valve

4. Clean the Part A spray gun of two-component spray road marking machine
1) Remove spray gun A, hold spray gun A and aim it at the inner wall of part A bucket.
2) Pull the gun trigger
3) Open the hydraulic valve
4) Let the remaining material in the equipment be discharged to Part A bucket through spray gun A
5) When you feel that pump A is running faster, close the hydraulic valve
6) Release spray gun trigger
7) Hold spray gun A and aim it at the inner wall of cleaning fluid tank A.
8) Pull the gun trigger
9) Open the hydraulic valve
10) Gun A continuously flows out of cleaning agent and performs multiple cycles of cleaning.
11) Take out suction tube A from cleaning agent bucket A
12) After observing the pump body running up and down 3-5 times, close the hydraulic valve and continue to pull the spray gun trigger, allowing the pressure in gun A to discharge the remaining paint and cleaning agent.
13) When you feel the pressure becomes less, open the hydraulic valve and let the pump run up and down again 3-5 times before, then close the hydarulic valve. Let this cycle continues until spray gun A discharges the air.
*After the suction tube A is taken out from the cleaning agent bucket A, there is very little paint remaining in the suction tube, and the lubrication function is weak. If the hydraulic valve is not closed in time, the pump body will heat up due to continuous operation, this will cause great damage to the sealing kit. Please strictly follow steps 12 and 13.
14) Close the hydraulic valve and open the return valve.

5. Clean two-component spray road marking machine part B plunger pump
Please follow the steps for cleaning the part A plunger pump of the two-component spray road marking machine to clean the part B plunger pump.
6. Clean the Part B spray gun of two-component spray road marking machine
Please follow the steps for cleaning the part A spray gun of the two-component spray marking equipment to clean the part B spray gun.
7. Clean the filter and suction pipe filter of two-component spray road marking machine
1)Remove the A and B filters, clean them carefully with detergent and a brush, and check whether there is any damage.
2) Remove the A and B suction pipe networks, clean them carefully with detergent and a brush, and check whether there is any damage.

8. Clean the other spare parts of two-component spray road marking machine
The spray tips, spray nozzle need to be carefully cleaned with detergent and a brush, and checked for damage.
*If it is an internal mixing spray gun, the spray tips, spray nozzle, internal mixing rod and internal mixing core need to be carefully cleaned with a brush and checked for damage.
9. Clean appearance of two-component spray road marking machine
Use a soft cloth to wipe the appearance of the two-component spray road marking machine to keep it clean. After cleaning, store the pavement striping equipment in a safe, dry, and ventilated place, and prepare the equipment for the next road striping project.
